Speaking of Colorado ~
I have seen so many questions about horses on the Fabrizius 'lot'.
Heres how that works:
.
Each week horses are posted with a deadline ('ship to slaughter date ') and available to the public to purchase. If they are not purchased, yes, they ship to slaughter on the date listed.
However!
If they do not have enough horses to 'ship a load ' (I feel so gross even saying this ,but wanted to lay the factsout clearly) ,then they get more time.
An extension,if you will.
Therefore, it is always my hope that enough horses are saved each week that a shipment is postponed. I hope that clears up how it works AND here is the contact information for the Fabrizius kill pen lot in Colorado.

I have no idea how long she has been like this or why.
This video was taken at the kill pen where she currently is. I do not know for sure that she can be helped, but I would like to try. Good farriers can do wonders but when they're just in TOO much pain......
You know the rest.
Either way,she needs immediate help.
