Posts like this make everything worth it! Little Sergeant Ardent who was adopted last week and another saved from Slaughter as well with their new kids.(And their faithful dog) having a wonderful ride on their beloved new rescued horses! This just gives me all the feels.

An unfortunate but sadly necessary announcement~
I cannot keep going as I have.
It pains me more than I can say to even write these words... But over the past three months my vet bills have increased drastically, with little to no help. Granted, I rarely ever ask for help with after care funding, but in these troubled times I do not feel it's fair TO ask. We currently have several horses in various stages of recovery from a myriad of ailments... Sadly most human inflicted. I wake every morning wondering how I will provide all that they need, and it tears me up. I will never let them go without, but if I have not enough for all that they need... I am doing them no favors. I will continue to do all that I can privately, and it hurts terribly to think of all the ones that will not be helped when I take this step back. Please do not misunderstand... I repeat... I will always help anywhere and everywhere I can.
This week alone... thousands in vet bills. Our monthly automatic donations total $364... Which I am beyond grateful for but it barely touches the expenses these poor babies incur. Oh, to live in a world where money was never a problem, we can do so much more.
Believe me, it is not for lack of want or trying.
And nothing has ever been harder to say than this.
